World Environment Day: students and teachers plant for the future

On World Environment Day, RGS students and staff held a plantation drive on campus. Under a banner reading “विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस” (World Environment Day), senior students planted saplings while teachers and guests each held a young tree to plant.

The programme was organised by the school with Jharkhand Chintan Vikas Kendra, Churchu, Hazaribag. It reminded students that caring for trees, water and soil is part of being a responsible citizen.

79th Independence Day: saluting the pillars of RGS

RGS celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with the whole school community. Alongside the flag hoisting and programme, the school paid a special tribute to its teachers as “The Pillars of RGS High School, Churchu”.

Teachers dressed in matching sarees for the day and posed with fellow staff on the school ground, a reminder that every child’s success is built on dedicated teaching. Jai Hind!

Colours at the gate: rangoli by our students

Students from different classes and houses came together to decorate the school entrance with a bright rangoli, finished with their class name written in coloured powder.

Rangoli and festive decoration are a favourite tradition at RGS, combining art, teamwork and pride in the school.
